The Gender Reveal


Memorial Day was extra special for us! We decided to reveal the gender of our twins to our family and friends! As you can see, we are being blessed with twin GIRLS! We loved watching everyone place their votes. We had a lot of people fooled! Some thought we were having two boys or one of each. So we loved seeing the surprise when we opened the box of balloons. 

We feel incredibly blessed to have such wonderful and supportive family and friends. We are thankful for each and everyone of you and appreciate all of the well wishes as we continue on our twin journey! 

The mystery still remains as to whether they will be identical! We will find out when they arrive!

What I Learned from Frugal January

While I don't believe in new year resolutions, I do believe in goals, aspirations and dreams. As a society, we're made to feel that with each new year, we must make resolutions, which more often than not, fade by March or set us up for failure. FAQ's

You may have noticed the viral photo of two twin girls in a stroller. Attached to the stroller is a sign showing the mother's response to the most common questions that she receives while out and about. I found it hilarious, because I totally understand where she's coming from. It also inspired me to make my own list! We're approaching the one year mark and I've heard it all! I Hate This.

It's taken me years to finally get the courage to address several areas of my own well-being. It all started with a trip to the doctor during the first week of January. I received so much insight into issues I've been experiencing and problems that I had been choosing to ignore. I've been on medications for over a month and I truly feel like a brand new version of me.  Growing up, medication was something that was frowned upon and feared in our household. Once I became a parent, my entire perspective shifted. I knew that I would do anything in my power to give my children relief from whatever they may be experiencing.
