The Gender Reveal

Memorial Day was extra special for us! We decided to reveal the gender of our twins to our family and friends! As you can see, we are being blessed with twin GIRLS! We loved watching everyone place their votes. We had a lot of people fooled! Some thought we were having two boys or one of each. So we loved seeing the surprise when we opened the box of balloons.  We feel incredibly blessed to have such wonderful and supportive family and friends. We are thankful for each and everyone of you and appreciate all of the well wishes as we continue on our twin journey!  The mystery still remains as to whether they will be identical! We will find out when they arrive!

We Know!

We had an absolutely amazing appointment this week! The ultrasound was almost two hours long and was incredibly thorough. So we got to see all of the little details and side profiles of our little ones. Everything checked out perfectly! Each baby weighs 13 ounces; just three ounces shy of one pound each! It's amazing how much they have grown and changed from our 14 week ultrasound.  My measurements were also great! According to my measurements, I should be set to carry these little ones to full-term, if not close to it. Which is very reassuring! I definitely want them to be fully "cooked" and healthy. I also want them to come when they are ready! Any prayers would be appreciated for healthy growth and a full pregnancy! Baby A was positioned with the head down and Baby B was in a breech position. Hopefully Baby A will be in that same position when it comes time to deliver!  We also learned the genders! And we cannot wait to share with everyone! We've loved listenin

Mommy Mommy Mommy!

My 3 year old has become incredibly clingy over the last month or so. I am now 19 weeks pregnant and he is constantly vying for my attention. I wonder if this is a normal occurrence. Can he sense the big change that's coming? Is he worried that I will care for him less? He always wants to be held, practically sits on me all of the time, sleeps with me and wants me to help him do things that he can normally do on his own.  Now I'd be lying if I said that I didn't love the extra one-on-one time with my little man. I love that little boy more than life itself! But it definitely gets exhausting from time to time! Michael and I are trying to get him to sleep back in his own bed, but it's definitely been a struggle. And Rhylan definitely knows how to melt my heart when he says "I want to snuggle with Mommy." However, it starts with sweet snuggles and ends with violent kicks throughout the night! Don't get me wrong, I love the attention and extra time with my

14 LONG Days

14 Days! That's what stands between us and finding out what our babies are! I am seriously so anxious to know for sure what's going on in there. There's so much to do and I'm already half way through this pregnancy. I wish there was a little window where I could just take a peek for myself.  I'm ready to start shopping for these little ones and stocking up on necessities, plus the nursery! I can't choose a theme and decor until I know what I'm having. I seriously don't know how people did it back when you didn't know what you were having! I'm such a planner and organizer, that I have to know!  It doesn't help that we are literally seeing twins everywhere! Okay not everywhere, but I definitely notice them a lot more. It's just like when you buy a new car and then all of a sudden, you notice that same car everywhere. We saw so many sets of twins this weekend at a festival. There was even a section of the parade for families with multi
